The new tax code allows 100% depreciation of capital expenditures in year-1. When you purchase an Olive Village parcel of land, approximately 80% of the year-1 expense is the tree planting and improvements. This means, you may be able to write-off up to 80% or more of your investment and still own an asset likely to increase in value.

Your Olive Village property is leased 100% by Integrated Ag. You collect rent, and do not have to worry about any of the operations.. Olive trees produce harvestable olives in year 3. Then the trees are generally harvested from year-3 to year-30. Olive trees are low maintenance compared to many other crops, and only require one harvest per year.
